Nathan Lu

Director

Nathan Lu is a solicitor director of ABP Lawyers. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in February 2008. Prior to founding ABP Lawyers he was a solicitor at one of the largest full service corporate firms in Australia, in their commercial and property practice.

During Nathan’s career, he has assisted clients from small business owners to large multinational companies in a wide range of industries.

Some of the advisory work Nathan has been involved in include providing advice to Singapore Airlines and Hainan Airlines on commercial leases, advising WD-40 on its distribution agreement in relation to a new product line, Howard Storage World on its trading terms and conditions and semi government organisations such as the Chinese visa processing centre.

Nathan has also been involved in numerous commercial and property transaction matters including acting for small to mid-sized residential property developers on the sale of off-the-plan apartment building and acting for vendors and purchasers on the sale and purchase of small to medium sized businesses.

Before practising commercial and property law, Nathan spent over 3 years providing business structure advice to small and medium sized businesses with a focus on tax flexibility and asset protection as well as assisting high net wealth individuals with their estate and succession planning needs.

Speaking both Cantonese and Mandarin, with a background in corporate restructure and tax coupled with Nathan’s broad commercial and property experience, Nathan has the necessary tools to provide you with accurate, timely and practical advice in a cost effective manner.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys training in Wing Chun Kung Fu, playing tennis, travel and spending time with family.
